Borrowed Time ~ Ppoetry / Lyric ~ MobiusTripz

Borrowed time,
not worth a dime,
mellowed wine.
drink it in fine.

Savor moments now,
present life with legs,
never over do it,
livin' in the dregs.

Bask in that bouquet,
perfect craft we too,
understanding aging better,
grace to carry through.

Borrowed time,
not worth a dime,
mellowed wine.
drink it in fine.

Uncorked and alive,
life poured forth from within,
like a chemical experiment,
but real not fantasy pretend.

If I was a bottle,
perfectly aged so well,
others to would drink me in,
feeling all life's swill.

Borrowed time,
not worth a dime,
mellowed wine.
drink it in fine.

I may be that bottle indeed,
coming to a certain emptiness,
but I have been a loyal man,
my sins I have confessed.

Lived life so well I've learned,
enjoyed decrepit grapes or wrath,
and a flip side to that coin,
flows like wine perfect from a flask.

Borrowed time,
not worth a dime,
mellowed wine.
drink it in fine.

I make wine from water,
it flows like blood offering life,
Why would you deny me,
when I offer nothing but life?

Borrowed time,
not worth a dime,
mellowed wine.
drink it in fine.
