I suggest that The United States of America erect a Space Force Academy in Cumberland, Maryland...George Washington's Headquarter city in Cumberland, Maryland, the midway point between Mount Vernon / Washington DC and Pittsburgh / Fort Duquesne.
He was the father (in founding idea) of West Point, where both my honorable brother and father attended before their service offered for our great country.
This Academy would emulate West Point is style and teachings, and lead the way for the rest of the world in setting the standards and protocol for what is to come in this next, least explored frontier.
I'll also suggest we make a U. S. Oceanic Academy as well, but that a different topic however needed because the ocean is little explored and understood as well, and it's critical to the continuation of ALl life in the world.
You scoff, perhaps, at the Space Force idea itself, however, there is a multitude of reasons it is critically important, and many of those ideas, but not limited to those ideas, will follow.
Cumberland, Maryland is ideal in such a multitude of ways with a federal airport, military posts/bases nearby, government installations nearby with civilians as well nearby, and land that is ready to be developed, terrain to train and be forged tough upon, exactly like West Point in the midst of natures beauty and geographies safety. A river, a working and dedicated population to support these efforts and so very much more.
General George Washington did not choose a poor location, ever. I even grew up on his former farmland from early childhood into adulthood.
This is an idea I suggested to my brother, again himself a West Pointer, and he immediately thought this was an excellent idea!
I'll write my local and state and federal leaders now with this thought, and the President, and urge the President to make this a dream turned reality in the next 6 short years.
Watch a country grow together when they fully understand why a Space Force Academy will benefit the country and its people, as well as the nation and citizens of the world while continually pushing the development and defense of outer space and all that it will most definitely entail as we take the next steps into the future that we determine today before it exists.
It's time to be bolder than ever, embrace change, and thrust ascending towards the heavens where next our kind will further evolve, flourish, band branch out, ensuring humanities future.

I'll expound on these ideas more so soon after more planning and contemplation, but today I have prepared the field for the seeds in thought that I spread.
I envision the castle-like structures in the cities surrounding, encompassing our horizons gracefully accentuating these beautiful hills cradled in Gods hands, and I see a brighter future than ever in this collective endeavor, or, the failure of humanities survival.
We must prepare for the journeys into outer space to come, maintaining the sanctity of outer space, as well as prepare for the threats such as EMP's to laser warfare, to asteroids, and even outlandish sounding threats such as rogue black holes.
We are quickly upon this new precipice moving forward ever faster, like a microwave drive ship, headed towards that new future where our families bloodlines are assured survival alongside the human adventure we have all shared.
What else could be more worthwhile?
Join me on this ascension to the stars, brethren, and sistren.
The journey will be fruitful in ways suck that problem if the largest magnitude today of Earth, will evaporate by the lessons gained through this adventure.
Personally, I'd like to travel to Mars, and I didn't survive this long to the only dream. Futures start with dreams, solidified by solid planned foundations that upon which our pinnacle may be reached when we collectively work together with great vision.

This is my crying plea of healing for our nation, our nations, our citizens and the citizens of our world, that we will know we each performed our Duty together, Honoring our mission to Space and promoting the continuation and proliferation of Life.
Let us heed the motto: Duty, Honor, Space, up to this new adventure.
As this will be a mobilizing and unifying effort of great excitement that will launch us into that future, it's a rallying cry we can join together under smashing the current purposeful and directed dividing tactics working upon us now to all our detriment.
