Union Rescue Mission closed after gusting wind rips roof off building; no one hurt 

Cumberland, Maryland, Dan Taylor, Melvin United Methodist Church

“We are insured, but it probably won’t cover everything,” Taylor said. “We are still without power and there is $5,000 worth of meat in the freezer.” Taylor said the interior of the building was renovated just this year.

Although the mission’s phone was not operational Monday morning, Taylor may eventually be reached at 301-724-1585."

Please contact Minister Dan Taylor at the number above to help these homeless folks and the expedient rebuilding of the mission.

~ from FB, not confirmed as real to my knowledge, but after this storm "Derecho", and it's powerful winds, dark clouds, light show, and swiftness, this fits the bill!..it would certainly not surprise me that it is real.
