Everything Behind Everything ~ Lyrics / Poetry ~ Mobius∆Tripz

Something sleeps
behind breath
small as frost
inside warm machinery
waiting
not dreaming
remembering

Violet needle
touches darkness
darkness opens
one jeweled eye
iris widening
past sight
past distance

Chrysanthemum
made of living angles
turns without moving
petals unfolding
through each other
colors with voices
voices with temperature

Open the flower behind my eyes
Let every color say my name
Body below me counting seconds
I have been gone for years
Something familiar waits inside forever
The door disappears
The room remains

Body stays
where body was
something smaller
something older
slips between
painted seconds

No road beneath
no sky above
only arrival
a room before rooms
a door
without a wall

Crystal weather
moves through thought
silver rain
falling upward
tangerine lightning
blue laughter
without mouths

Open the flower behind my eyes
Let every color say my name
Body below me counting seconds
I have been gone for years
Something familiar waits inside forever
The door disappears
The room remains

Every surface
looks back
every point of light
knows my name
I cannot remember
having one

Presence leans closer
not near
closer
geometry softens
impossible hands
open inside mine

No words
meaning arrives
all at once
too large
for language
I know this place
I have never been
