The Rap of Life ~ Lyrics ~ MoiusTripz

I have been sittin and thinkin,
contemplating, drinking, aching,
smoking and takin,
healing trying to get back in the fold,
in pain and stinkin.

from where I come from,
we don't smoke crack,
don't die early of heart attacks,
don't know suffering and pain,
another friend gone a rat a tatt tat!!!
...my friends down the drain.

yo man... i say fuck dat,
i walk with erupted spine,
doc says fuck dat,
the spirit is alive,
just love that.

Junior Seau, we be missing you,
thanks for all the things so true,
a life offered up to awaken us,
i wish i could hit rewind back to 1982,
and not instead, be missing you.

and Dean McKnight man I be missing you,
wish I could take the pain that life was dissing you,
I wish it could be again 1982,
with you skiing in vermont,
and not missing you.

Curtis Clark was a friend indeed,
once I whooped his ass discipline in need,
just hoping he would see suffering in others eyes,
there truly is no such need,
and he would stop hurting and hurting others in turn,
another lesson we each learned.
but learned alas perhaps not,
and I am missing you.

And Scott, he speaks to me not this friend of mine,
but he has lived clean and sober,
impossible once upon a time,
now more time has passed we together grew and knew,
and I narked on him, as my friend's life did before me unfold,
glad you've stayed clean man, thinking of and missing you,
better in silence with you alive,
then a Skylark in the river by the woodrow wilson bridge,
life for us each over and through.

Chorus:

I am missing all of you,
memories perfect ring clear,
keeping the best lessons I now share,
keeping you always in thought so near,
missing you.

Robert Rowe my friend in music heart and soul,
always offered up to me his bowl,
I typically passed and guzzled alcohol instead,
now he has found his early death bed,
and I am so missing you.

Chester took his father my friend,
and I forgive him and we speak time and time again,
I testified against he to that ghastly night of sin,
forgiveness in life opens a door to freedom.

I lost two, he and his father and a father a life,
no one should ever know this much strife,
seems common place more and more today, quite rife,
Chester and I say together,
please spare us each our life.

Memory comes from time irreversible,
think before you react,
be patient seeking help, and never rash,
a mistake made in a second always will last.

My first memory a plane crash, Reading, Pa, June 1968,
I was just a baby, six months old,
and life in a big bang did unfold,
Dick Schram I never knew you,
but I instantly missed you.

Then Dhea and Mark and Mark,
planes again taking friends,
and the the Pentagon a mile away from me,
my ex-wife, my ex-father in law, head of a government agency,
they lived that day thank god,
with the fresh so close and in our view,
you made it too and i am missing you.

The gift this life has been for me,
is to wear many shoes looking for destiny,
and learning lessons from all my friends,
carrying messages for those departed,
knowing all roads have their end,
and all the while missing you.

Chorus:

I am missing all of you,
memories perfect ring clear,
keeping the best lessons I now share,
keeping you always in thought so near,
missing you.

I am missing all of you,
memories perfect ring clear,
keeping the best lessons I now share,
keeping you always in thought so near,
missing you.

ReTurning Home to My Destiny ~ Poem ~ MobiusTripz

Returning to the cradle of home in these mountains of Cumberland,
I return to warmth and friends, clean air to slumber in,
I count thankfully each moment on the present and breathe it in,
I come back thankful for my hard cold forged good friends.

There really is nothing more for me here,
Just a few good friends, warm campfires, chit chat and a few beers,
I know not sometimes the forces that have driven me here and steered,
yet here I am returned again trying to makes smiles, not tears, let's share.

Days ago a visit to Washington D.C.,
with a friend I had not seen,
since before a time even as many years had passed,
and those years for us each exciting and fast.

He gave me a tour of the studios at XM,
and shared with me art and technical details we once only dreamed,
and our dreams now bigger then ever before,
thanks Jack for opening to me your hearts door.

You made me feel as I feel when I am home in these hills,
at home and where my soul is at rest peaceful an still,
calm in my heart body and soul,
where the angels make music in my mind forever and always,
tempered with accents as forte, andante, harmonizing slurs and sheer trills.

Life's moments I enjoy trapping in tones sometime eloquent,
other times sounds like insanity when my mind is so spent,
and you transcribe from both guitar and piano,
while I play it from my head and make it up as I go.

Your life you have been a great architect,
while although happy I am like a train wreck,
but our music, our beloved music brings us to share,
points in time like sweet music broadcast by satellite across the air.

We changed the time we were meant to meet as first agreed,
your son to perform you could not miss a moment I see,
and so it was I stayed at a later date at my parent's home,
I was there when my Mother needed me, oh so very close to death, the most,
I felt so very, very all alone.

Music saved my Mother's life,
and it is she the artist so that it is only so very befitting,
who offered me my music to share with my friends,
and the language from my Father an her to write, hopefully witting.

So along these recently traveled roads,
My family and my friends once again carried me,
Some things planned out to the tee,
and other times most important pure destiny.

I had to return to the home I so love,
I had to find the ground again on which to solidly stand,
I find a peace and solace in these mountains so strong,
and with you each my angelic friends we right things so wrong.

The power of unity to lift and soar together is heavenly,
the best times in life are slow meaningful and with powerful longevity,
each moment really it's very own pinnacle unique epitome,
Friends and family you all set this pitiful man so very, very free.

Thanks, a word with the weight of a black hole,
it's density when used properly finally exposed,
sometimes as powerful as words are they escape a moment,
music and prayer and Faith take over and divide the dark towards a celestial quotient.

That place where we are all in one another's thoughts,
where our souls can never be by anyone bought,
where we seek comfort with one another and justice together is wrought,
together we find the peace that together we have always sought.

Thanks, for I have no more a powerful word to now share,
as I write and gaze across the mountains caught in a solitude stare,
friends and family please know how deep for you each I so care,
thanks, for I know it is at least me been spared.

Upon returning home to destiny,
deep thoughts run through my mind and soul all over me,
I felt at a time I may never make such a simple trip again,
thanks, for picking me up, my beautiful family and such loving friends

The Changing Economy and The Paradigm Shift

Great article from July 27, 2012 from The Huffington Post about the changing economy as I wrote about at the link below from October 2010.

Is the Paradigm Shifting?

My comment/posting to the bottom of the article:

Here is what I originally wrote and was published by The United States Department of Energy.

This is from Oct of 2010.

I believe this is what is happening exactly as I first theorized, and if you look at the amount of technology jobs available today that we cannot fill because there is not enough of a work force properly yet trained and taught for these positions, well the two together are a great sign.

There will certainly be hard work along the way, and not everything changes or should be threatening at all, but rather very promising.

We should be making changes for the better all the time and working on upgrading our infrastructure and implementing these new skills once taught, which is happening now.

I have many links in many articles at my blog that anyone can read from reputable sites that report cold hard numbers, not a slanted view, although there is almost always a slant.

I understand business well, and I love nature, and this is a marriage that satisfies both parties an should be the focused marriage in political discussion today.

I also believe the Ford references mentioned in the article were accurate for the early pioneering years as a fledgling company, however that was not quite stated that way, as I think it was actually intended.

I for one am very pleased to see progress for both the economy and the environment.

Now hopefully the machine of the economy can get fired back up better then ever and put everyone that would enjoy the livelihood or a career back to work, as we know it is high time.

I enjoyed the article very much myself and am excited about the short and long term future.

If necessity is the mother of invention, then it's no wonder the state of the environment is driving innovation around the world. At SHFT, we're watching this happen in the private sector at a pace and force that's nothing short of astonishing.
It's a slightly counterintuitive idea, given the huge challenges we're facing and the lack of tangible results at the big international summits. Apathy can set in all too easily. We get overwhelmed with myriad looming issues surrounding climate change and it can leave us numb or full of fear. And then there's the political rationale for why the "conversation" has left the stage in this election year, which goes something like this: More important concerns like the economy and job loss rates eclipse the less important environment issue. But the silver-lined reality is we're in the midst of a burgeoning green economy, and along with it, lots of green jobs.
In fact, we'd argue that the troubled economy, the high unemployment rate, the growing awareness of global warming, and the seismic speed and growth of technology have created a perfect storm of opportunity. We're seeing a proliferation of innovation with the environment at its core in many sectors (business, energy, design, food), and when we take them in the aggregate, it's beginning to look a lot like a paradigm shift.
We explore this bold new landscape in The Big SHFT, our latest original series produced with Ford Motor Company, whose manufacturing innovations forever changed the way things are made. In these short three-minute films, we train the camera lens on 10 innovators who are changing the way we live through innovation and leadership with an eye on the environment.
The Big SHFT, which we're showing here on HuffPost for the first time, harkens back to the industrial revolution in its surge of disruptive innovation, the difference is this current revolution aims to clean up the dirty casualties left in the former revolution's wake.
Sure, it's going to take a lot to clean up the environment and there's no panacea. It will ultimately depend on great efforts from the public sector to work in cooperation with the private sector. But until our government can afford to focus on this, the private sector will be paving great swaths of innovation, application and progress.
Here are the first two episodes: The young entrepreneur Tom Szaky and the green jobs pioneer Van Jones. They are the first two subjects of THE BIG SHFT, who illustrate that despite the many challenges, the times we're living in are damn exciting.
We are personally inspired by these stories and hope that you are too. Share them with your people. Tell us what you think, and we'll respond on Facebook and Twitter.
TOM SZAKY: Tom Szaky is the founder and CEO of TerraCycle, which recycles garbage into innovative new products. From plant fertilizer and tote bags, to park benches and bird feeders, Szaky is a transformer who turns trash into profit.

VAN JONES: To Van Jones, pollution and poverty are two sides of the same coin. The former White House environmental advisor is America's leading green jobs advocate, fighting for a clean economy in the name of justice.

SHFT.COM is a cultural media platform, founded by Actor/Filmmaker Adrian Grenier and Film Producer Peter Glatzer offering original video series, curated shopping, and a host of resources that speak to an inspirationally conscious lifestyle.

Falling Back In Place Once Again ~ Lyrics ~ MobiusTripz

I've been sitting here all night,
just trying,
to,
relax.

I miss my friends,
and I miss my past,
thought my youth,
would always last.

though my youth would always last.
oh yeah,
I'm mad.

Things always change,
and rearrange.

...and fall back in place once again.

Things always come back,
in place,
once again.

Colorado Tragedy Aurora, Colorado ~ Theater Shooting ~ Picture Prayer

Please re-post or share this "picture prayer" any way you like.

The more folks that see it can pass it and post it with their own prayer of thoughts,
to carry silently and peacefully,
without personal words often derisive,
but rather resoundingly quiet and with a positive binding oneness of collective individual thoughts,
of pure unity.

A comment below, here at this blog, as a memoriam, for those suffering through the anguish and loss would be very appreciated.

I feel a deep loss for so much hard to truly satisfactorily express at a time like this when senseless acts are played out on unsuspecting citizens trying to enjoy a life of freedom at their time of leisure.

I pray for mourning that is swift, acceptance that is now, healing that is wholesome and bears fruit from such tragedy, and perseverance together as a nation to carry it through for a time we all need to heal, and hope this picture prayer is well received and passed along.
