(Link goes to article posted below)

I recently found out (today to be exact) that I was published once again!

Life is a joyous ride!

My best writing is the writing from my heart with no dollar signs or intention of money attached.

Thanks for reading the link and I hope you enjoy my article.

I am in shock yet again!

Technology Challenge ~ Ceramic Automobile Heater

Featuring: FoMoCo, Henry Ford, Thomas Alva Edison, Roy Firestone, John Burroughs, and R.J.H. DeLoach, all better known as "The Vagabonds"

Simple idea for the Winter.

A ceramic car heater, simply to pre-heat a cold car and defrost the windows (front, rear, and side) and run it on an App as well as have a secondary batter that charges of the alternator but is only used on this circuit when the App is active and otherwise is wired to alternate with the starting circuit battery (we will simply refer to this one as the primary battery).

It would be simple to set the App around your work schedule or on a temperature sensor and time, so that it is only utilized when needed.

The batteries should both be used in the charging circuit just to keep the secondary battery in use so it stays healthy, and may also be wired as a back up in emergency situations to drive the car to safety in the event of a charging system failure, as most cars will run off of the battery if so designed.

The main consideration is placement of the extra battery and the ceramic heater.

Ceramic heaters heat quickly, are inexpensive, efficient, and do not have to use warm circulating coolant to produce heat, of course.

The heater(s) would not have to be large, will never drain the primary battery, and will never be hot enough to be of concern.

This circuit could also heat the seat(s) of choice so the car is toasty in the worst weather.

The best feature may be rarely used, but a life saver, as the App could override the starting circuit in an emergency situation (works with or without cell reception as this should be tied for close proximity blue tooth operation, call for help (if a signal to the cell phone is available, and also GPS the coordinates to help, and keep you warm in case you are stranded with a vehicle that will not start or run but still has the electrical circuit operable.

I have an old car and the belt broke a couple of days ago.

This is not the first time as the belt tensioner recently went bad I had replaced it and the belt.

This time the idler pulley bolt snapped, and fortunately I had my extra battery still in the trunk as a safety precaution, so it would not go far, but it went the 3 miles I needed to go to get home safely, avoid calling AAA, and it only took 5 minutes to open the trunk, get the wrench, change the battery, and put the other one in the trunk, and then the additional time to drive home safely.

That was what gave me this idea to post this , not to mention having been a mechanic a long time, which due to health reasons I can only do very very light work now, I have always wondered why ceramic heaters are not utilized more often as well as secondary batteries, which are often on larger trucks.

It is an excellent set up, could save lives, and would cost next to nothing in design and the cost of the inexpensive battery.

So who is on it ?

Ford (FoMoCo) gets my vote, as my Great Grandfather, R.J.H. DeLoach, was a close friend to Henry Ford.

This is a fascinating quick read:

http://blogs.georgiasouthern.edu/zachsnews/2009/06/10/gift-from-henry-ford-finds-its-way-to-henderson-library/

That link shows a chair he was given as a gift from his friend Henry Ford, as well as other great history of The Vagabonds.

If you want to find out who they were, just go to the link...pretty neat history to check up on.

My Great Grandfather is in the picture of the Grist Mill Wheel and is furthest on the left and seated.

So what do you say Ford Motor Company?...These guys would do it today and I am sure if you find this, you may as well.

By the way, my forst ca was a 1968 Torino GT. It was red with white C-Stripes, and my car that just broke down is a 1998 Ford Escort ZX2, really a Mazda.

It is a wonderful little car, peppy, usually very dependable, and reminds me of my first car as it is red as well, maybe I'll add some C-Stripes, but I doubt it.

Left to right, seated is R.J.H. DeLoach, the taller of the two men behind him is Edison and the shorter is Firestone's son, on top is left, John Burroughs and right, Henry Ford, and standing on the right is Firestone.

That is my Great Grandfather with my Mother Betty, my Father Donald, and my oldest sister Susan.

And the grist mill wheel of time marches on, perhaps this will be one of my new song topics...so look for a posting of lyrics if interested followed by a song, in a day, week or year from now.

It would be wonderful to be a fly on the wall and listen to these fellows.

I will post some additional pictures as I process them, and they are a letter from Edison written in pencil, a typed letter signed by Firestone on his corporate letterhead, this same original picture as above, a letter hand written by John Burroughs and what ever else I can take some pictures of when I have the time.

Hope you enjoyed the post and will share this history which is slowly coming back together as the internet's resources have grown and the dots keep getting connected.

I contacted:

"Welcome to Zach's News! This blog serves as the newsletter for the Zach S. Henderson Library of Georgia Southern University. Please visit our library website at http://library.georgiasouthern.edu The earlier version of our newsletter, Current Issues Only, is available at http://library.georgiasouthern.edu/cio/cio.html"

That is from the blog page, so I hope to hear from them soon, and perhaps make a visit.

I have wanted to study my Great Grandfather's work because a lot of it is in Georgia and I also believe Chicago, and his work is wonderful, well written articulate scientific factual studies that are perhaps more current today in philosophy which we have strayed far to far away from.

He wrote a research paper for the PGA on how to grow grass for their golf courses, and also how to raise sheep and make it economical and profitable.

He was a botanist and a professor and held other notable titles and did fantastic work for men like this, his close friends.

As he too was a naturalist and a scientist, which I am as well (runs in the blood no doubt), I feel certain he would have great ideas about today's real pressing issues, and I think of him almost daily because he inspires me so.

When I read some of his writing, it is like what I have written on my finer work where I have really taken time studying, proofing, editing, etc. to make a perfectly clear final product.

Writing is a passion of mine and has just grown on me with age.

He played guitar too, as I do, and again, it is quite amazing when you know these things and just naturally gravitate to the same exact things.

If anyone reads this that would like to contribute, please do as I plan on always leaving my blogs open and ready to be added to or edited as needed to further put together a larger picture.

Thanks for spending your time here today reading this.

Greet the Horizon ~ Poem/Lyrics ~ MobiusTripz

Enjoying this morning,
not lost and forlorning,
or letting the moments frolic away,

with friends weve made merry,
quite opposite today's actual lives, so contrary,
to friends, always stay close never sway,

the mountains greeting a future's horizon,
soraing like beautiful lives I have known,
fill my spirit to carry and say,

to have shared time with each of you,
friends, we have been through times rage red and some blue,
but friends I promise to always stay.

Dope Sick ~ Lyrics ~ MobiusTripz

I see people dope sick,
mind lost in this trick,
thinking charges never,
ever gonna stick,
i got this baby licked, never tricked,
yet still dope sick.

sweat is pouring down your brow,
it's not even hot out now,
sullen clamy sunken faces,
I see so many of these all over places,
yall so dope sick.

runnin with children runnin against time,
i wonder if they know they are running out of their mind,
this is a disease that distorts and makes not sublime,
this is an enemy against friends too many of mine,
so many all so dope sick.

lickety split pay me get my shit,
got 20 wanna see some tits,
help me out brother and spare a dime,
dope sick out my mutha fukkin mind,
my friends are passin fast through time.

another lesson another rhyme,
sing along but think this time,
there really is no reason to stay,
on evil drugs upon which you they prey,
laughing you already know this so laugh not shocked,
you know the way I saw you yesterday,
so dope sick and your body rokked!

you cant ignore it when your dope sick,
slave you are when your dope sick,
cant pass dope sick without being dope sick,
yet you choose to chase a dragon and stay dope sick.

too many so dope sick,
so dope sick,
sad so dope sick,
life traded for a fix,
get a killer high could kill ya,
then some shakes, shivers and shits,
mahn,
yall sad so dope sick.

Recipe ~ Health Recipe with Power Packing Foods and Healing Spices ~ MobiusTripz

Scramble six whisked eggs well, then add 1-2 cups water and mix and keep on medium heat.

I prefer to use oloive oil or grape seed oil (super high in Vitamin E) and cook all of this in a cast iron skillet as well for the added Iron in my diet.

Add an entire onion sliced well.

Add EITHER:

4 cups brown minute rice

or

1 bag of crushd Ramen noodles (do not use the seasoning)

towards the end add golden raisins, (1 cup=520 calories)

add celery, or anyother veggies you may have that you think will work.

If fresh add in the beginning with the onion, if already cooked simply add towards the end.

add 2 tspns each, Turmeric and Ginger, and Soy Sauce to really excite the flavors.

cook on medium, stirring all along, until rice or noodles are to your liking.

Serve on a bed of fresh spinach and top with a light to moderate grated cheese of your choice

If you shop well this is an inexpensive dish, you can eat from 3 times (just cut recipe for smaller quantities) and it is super health and balanced.

I prefer the brown rice version although with Ramen is tasty too the wheat does not agree with my stomach, and therefore limiting its consumption had helped my overall halth a lot.

The Turmeric and Ginger are essential to me becase of their excellent healing as well as preventitive qualities.

I never add salt, as the Soy Sauce is salty enough, and even with no Soy Sauce the tatses are exquisite alone.

I broke ribs and have had a hard time healing but I found this balanced tasty meak I created to help me heal much quicker with the result of instant energy very shortly after consumptin, as well as it is a light meal, and may be complimented with chicken, or a small portion of steak on the side.

I often add an entire chicken breast into it while I am cooking it.

If you prep well, and are organized and efficient, this is 30 minutes or less from fridge to mouth!

KEEP YOUR ANGRY CHAIR ~ LYRICS ~ MOBIUSTRIPZ

I think it's easy sitting over here,
in my angry chair,
because you all placed me in this angry chair,
and I sit over here,
in my angry chair,
in my angry chair,
in my angry chair,
you made me sit over here,
in this angry chair.

I don't like to contemplate what came of this,
I have lived my own life of my own shit,
don't need no angry chair,
don't take no angry chair,
maybe you have me sitting in it over there,
but i speak of and get education and dont accept your angry chair.

Where I see from I don't have no vision of no angry chair,
I see flowers and I see fields,
and I see mountain tops and hills,
mountain tops and hill,
bears and wild turkeys everywhere,
in this country we don't know nothing about no angry chair.

I'm thinking about,
the only angry chair I know,
It's in the senate and the congress and the presideintial show,
lots of many monies spent,
not much to show,
I think the governmenet is the angry chair.

Buy you can't hurt our countryside,
no matter how you try,
it's where we live and we fight,
for to protect and die,
so keep your angry chair.

...but you've got to question,
where does that angry chair lead for our future,
all of these upcoming generations,
I think that your kids, and those kids kids, and maybe you're great grandchildren too,
so you know what man,
do your politics on down that way,
in your angry chair.

LADY FALLING DOWN IN CUMBERLAND, MARYLAND

ROUGH DRAFT FOR A READ THOUGH ANYWAY

Lady Falling Down that I along with Chico revived, thanks lord!

first at green street park view liquors, knocked out cold, no one but me and chico took any action and this woman bounced her head off the concrete with a thud and then into a soda machine just as hard, as she was a big woamn and she was moving fast, and fell so hard i knew she was out immediatelly.

I have sinal injuries that are severe, so I am quite conscientious of medical care and treatment and basic diagnosis as I often visit doctors and have friends inthe field of practice I often talk with.

I held my lit screen Android to her nose while taking her pulse, no pulse detected by finger method, nor any steam on phone screen to state air flow

too many were around us dumbfounded and i urged them to please stay back and let me think clear and not interfer until we have some basic triage info...but they all dumbfounded as they were backed up, but you could see had nothing to offer...me with the broken back and my equally very ill friend snapped to action and we both knew it and thought it together

i am thankful that he is my friends and know what we have to offer when we are together and another should need assistance

i asked chico to plese get me my flashlight hanging on the turn signal stick of the column and some water from the trunk, and he knew where they were because it is a case of water we drink from when needed while fishing if we are fortunate enough to go, as we each suffer very poor health, but try to keep a balance and restore all the while.

chico is fast and within seconds i had to open her eye by hand and see if there was any reaction to light, all the while not ever moving her head at all, or body, as it appeared her airway was not obstructed, and i wanted to insure no further possibility of injury ahad she suffered and spinal trauma, it was very apparent there was no blood, but she had at least one major knot on her head in the instant she hit.

her dilated eye did not respond a all, not one single bit, and it was even getting darker outside yet her eye was so open it almost appeared that there was no coloring, just an empty blackness and i thn prayed to the lord to plese help us to help her come back

i asked chick if what i try next does not work, will you do cpr with me, we have good rhythm (we love music) and i said we can find that rhythm until help comes...you with me man, how do we do it, we each too a part and explained in seconds what we would do next if my nearly last choice was

i had no smelling salts, nor anything else that may awaken the sense, however, water in the face (not up the nose mind you or down the airway) can often very effectively shock the CNS right back akin to a deep electrical shock, thus turning all circuits back on.

She popped up so hard she nearly hit me in the head, but i was prepared for this and was quick to catch her, clear myself, and calm her down in a very quiet calm voice syaing what happened and that she was ok now

i then urged calmly, after she gathered herself mentally for a few minutes, that she please let me call her an ambulance, which she refused, and time and time i tried to convince her.

she could see ho many fingers i help up several times with no problem, her eyes responded perfectly to the flashlight or my directions so i sw the thoughts of those moments were clear

all her senses seemed clear, and perhaps i should have called an ambulance, but i told her and some friends nearby if she has any strange symptoms, like passing out, bleeding, temperture, slurred speach, etc. get her to the emergency room right away

just a couple of days later, chico and i are cruising up baltimore avenue when this girl is j walking in the street and trips about 150 yards ahead of us and slams here head into the sidewalk, but quickly and dizilly at least sat right up as we were soon passing, and chico and i looked at one another as if we were having de ja vous, and then we remembered the trauma of the otther night

in the moment (in my minds eye) i became a life saving doctor in my mind and quickly assessed everything including what we had on hand for treatment, and acted

can i call an ambulance for anyone injured like this because to see this woman i do now know in two separate places in my life just days apart and she is falling leads me to believe more then anything she has a massive head injury, however my retired fireman buddy jt suggested perhaps a drug or alcohol problem, and I said or worse yet perhaps both!

so this is my rough draft for reading as the memories are coming back from a place that was so intense and fast paced I have blocked it out to keep a more even keel

but to look death in the eye and stare it down and bring life back was a gift that day

thanks lord

if i remember more details or chico want to add anything i will perhaps change a few items but certainly not the overall story already presented herein

next story when i write will be about the stuck fire engine and the way the road got cleared woodbridge, virginia

then we saw her fall again on balt ave

blessed best fishing buddies and pals

DNA helps police ID body of former Cumberland resident found in reservior

A REPOST FROM THE CUMBERLAND TIMES NEWS followed by two other links as well.

http://times-news.com/latest_news/x192353893/Woman-s-N-Y-death-mystery

This involves a Cumberland, Maryland woman's death who was a very close friend to a very close friend of my own, and her name is referenced in the story below.

She told me how this woman's daughter had not heard from her Mother for a long time, and when I asked how long, she told me in several years, and I questioned, was this a pattern or something new?

I was told she would have stayed in touch for certain, and I suggested she urge her friend Winter to file a missing persons report as quickly as possible.

I am thankful that my friend urged strongly enough over the phone calls on ocassion to her friend Winter to please follow through.

I am saddened by the outcome as I am sure are so many others, and as this looks to be suspicious as reported, I pray now for peace to family and friends, and Justice for anyone invlved in foul play.

I simply found several articles and wanted to leave them with their links below as each has something the other may not, yet they of course convey the same tragic overall story.

I hope whoever may read this that may be family or friend are at peace, as I saw how hurt my own best friend was when she gave some statements to the reporter for the article that follows.

Woman’s N.Y. death mystery

DNA helps police ID body of former Cumberland resident found in reservior

— CUMBERLAND — As authorities in New York state continue to investigate the death of 45-year-old Traci Douglass, a former Cumberland resident whose body was recently identified with state-of-the-art DNA testing, her former best friend in the Queen City hopes someone can provide police information to help solve the case.

“Traci knew an awful lot of people in Cumberland and she easily befriended people,” said city resident Rhonda Lynn Fazenbaker. “If someone talked to her before she went missing, if they have any information — even something they may not think is important — please give that information to police.”

A woman’s body was found on the Kinzua Reservoir on Sept. 26, 2009, by a pedestrian who called police. A few weeks ago, Fazenbaker heard from Douglass’ daughter, who said her mom’s body had been identified as the woman who was found in the reservoir.

Douglass’ death is believed to be a result of foul play, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Department. The FBI has provided assistance in the case.

“I would like to find out who did this to her and to help her daughter to get some closure. I’m glad they now have her body and will be able to put her to rest. I understand she will be brought back to Garrett County for burial,” said Fazenbaker, who contacted the Times-News in an effort to publicize information about Douglass and possibly stir information that will aid investigators.

“I met Traci when she moved to Cumberland around 1994. She lived at Fort Cumberland Homes and had a daughter and son who were twins. Her son Dylan died in 2001, when he was 9, of brain cancer at home and he had hospice care.

“Traci worked at Flowerland on Virginia Avenue for a while. She was born and raised in Bloomington. I believe she lived in Baltimore County for a few years when she was first married. She remarried while she was living here. She took her daughter, Winter, and moved to New York about three to five months after Dylan died.

“Traci was my best friend. She was dating my boyfriend’s brother when I first met her. After she moved, we talked about four times a month. She seemed to be doing OK and was working in a book store up there in Salamanca. Her daughter was in school at the time. Traci wasn’t depressed.”

In December 2006, Fazenbaker was contacted by Winter, who said that she couldn’t find her mom. “Winter said a lady had come into McDonald’s where Winter worked and told her that her mom was going to meet her boyfriend and that he had been abusive to her in the past,” recalled Fazenbaker. “Winter asked me what should she do. I told her to report her mom missing.”

For six years, Douglass’ family and friends remained clueless about her disappearance. Now that her body has been identified, police are working to determine who is responsible for her death.

Cattaraugus Sheriff Timothy Whitcomb said, “This effort is a plea to anybody in the public to please contact us if you have any information whatsoever regarding Traci Douglass. We would like to hear from anybody and everybody in her social circle. Any piece of information that they may have, that may seem insignificant to them, may be very significant to us. We want to get to know her. We want to get to know every job she had, every friend she had, every enemy she had, every landlord she had. We want to know where she slept, where she ate, what her hobbies were, what made her happy, what made her sad, Any piece of information that the public has about Traci, we want.”

The sheriff made his remarks to the The Post-Journal of Jamestown, N.Y., in late February.

Traci Douglass Found: New York Reservoir Remains From 2009 Identified

According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office, the remains belong to Traci Douglass, a 45-year-old woman from Salamanca who has been missing since 2006.
During a Tuesday press conference, Cattaraugus County Sheriff Timothy Whitcomb credited advances in DNA testing and assistance from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in New York City with making the identification possible.
Douglass' cause of death has been listed as unnatural and investigators suspect foul play was involved.
"The umbrella of unnatural death could include a couple of different things," Whitcomb said. "It could be suicide [or] it could be accidental. More than likely in this case what we are leaning toward, however, is foul play."
A fisherman discovered the remains along the edge of the Allegheny Reservoir on Sept. 26, 2009. There was initial speculation that the remains belonged to Corrie Anderson, a mother of three from Ashville who went missing in October 2008, but the medical examiner was able to rule her out using dental records.
TRACI DOUGLASS CASE PHOTOS: (Article Continues Below)

The remains were then handed over to Dr. Dennis Dirkmaat, a forensic anthropologist at Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa. A preliminary forensic examination by Dirkmaat revealed the remains were likely those of a woman between the ages of 25 and 45.
Due to the condition of the remains and the fact that they had been in an exposed environment for a lengthy period of time, forensic experts had a difficult time extracting DNA. It was not until recent advances were made in the process that experts were able to obtain a usable sample and make the identification.
Whitcomb is now hoping that the identification of the remains will help detectives uncover new leads in the case.
"This effort is a plea to anybody in the public to please contact us if you have any information whatsoever regarding Traci Douglass," he said. "We would like to hear from anybody and everybody in her social circle."
"We are still in a frustrating place right now because this is not solved," he added. "This is about determining what caused this to happen and seeking justice if necessary if that is what is required in this case."
Anyone with information in the case is asked to call the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Department at 716-983-9191.
