Trippin' Through Time

Trippin' Through Time

I will never be nobody but me, traveling along un-tethered and free, cuz you got to listen to your own decree, each of us just a branch of the same tree.

Family all spread out and about, hear this message oh so loud, look for silver linings and ignore clouds, live life hard and let the truth ring out.

Freedom is found in what you do, I can not offer a piece to each of you, worthy things we will always see through, transparency never leaves one feeling blue.

Livin' life to the finest,
caught up in a spiritual glow,
lifted and floating higher,
born with what we know.

Freedom is found in what you do, I can not offer a piece to each of you, worthy things we will always see through, transparency never leaves one feeling blue.

Family all spread out and about, hear this message oh so loud, look for silver linings and ignore clouds, live life hard and let the truth ring out.

I will never be nobody but me, traveling along un-tethered and free, cuz you got to listen to your own decree, each of us just a branch of the same tree.

Lifted and floating higher,
born with what we know,
livin' life to the finest,
caught up in a spiritual glow,

Livin' life to the finest,
caught up in a spiritual glow,
lifted and floating higher,
born with what we know.

"Alice Cooper in Velour (Makes Me Sick)"

Grabbing some warm coffee the other day,
and man to my surprise in my eyes,
there stood Alice Cooper chilling in Velour,
I stared long and intense but not too wise.

October chills to the bone grabbed me fast,
and since ill I have just not been right,
he looked so shock up close and real,
now since in bed I spend both day and night.

He used no special antics but simply winked,
while just drag and casually dressed in velour,
caked makeup and heavy mascara dripping,
Pretties for You, he whispered as I walked through the door.

Now in earshot I inquired rasply upon leaving,
What Ever Happened to Baby Jane ?
He snickered and dribbled coffee simultaneously,
and said... worry not, you'll never again be the same.

Dragging now aching and heavy footed to my office,
I smelled a sudden smell of most certain putrid decay,
I turned back in disbelief to look at that man Alice,
while through acrid smoke he just slithered away.

..and echoing in my mind while sipping my brew,
I heard these words running through my mind's eye,
you'll never be the same and pretties for you,
time passes for all, now Lay Down and Die, Goodbye.

Crazy Threads ~ Poetry ~ MobiusTripz

I am sick of Crazy Threads,
people sound off their meds,
please don't upon me tread,
with all your insanely crazy threads.

Friends attacking one another,
verbal visceral flamboyant utter,
civil war already happening take cover,
now in babbel we all get smothered.

Chorus:

Twisted up by the media's gait,
do not let them twist our fate,
torqued up we all separate,
spiral down to the wrong gate.

Angered by financial politics,
steal our money while our wounds we lick,
we lash out at another makes me sick,
the clock still running...tick, tick, tick.

No time for mundane mediocrity,
Detroit now another fallen city,
upon others suffering take some pity,
time to figure out all the nitty gritty.

tick, tick, tick
tick, tick, tick,
crazy threads make us all sick,
crazy threads a fiery pit.

Chorus:

Twisted up by the media's gait,
do not let them twist our fate,
torqued we all separate,
spiral down to the wrong gate.

Hurting one another instead of lifting,
stealing and taking what we should be gifting,
I look around and see so much now missing,
Like forked tongued snakes all verbally hissing.

Chorus:

Twisted up by the media's gait,
do not let them twist our fate,
torqued we all separate,
spiral down to the wrong gate.

Memorial Militia ~ Chris Cox ~ Poem

To my friend Chris Cox...

There is a Memorial Militia,
and it is a one man show,
Chris Cox is a man of action,
working hard and always on the go.

He is a modern hero and American Patriot,
who hears his duty as it beckons and calls,
he sets a steadfast example with action,
as collectively we suffer the slings and arrows of shortfall.

A push mower, and trash bags, and a bicycle,
a chainsaw slung on his shoulder like a guitar,
a flag of South Carolina flying with honor,
with its crescent and palm carried by he, the star.

He single-handedly "Fills the Void" created,
by a federal government now shut down,
he inspires all of the nation's masses,
now seen on television in every large and small town.

He devotedly respects our beloved veterans,
and this country they have served so well,
yet the authorities ask him to stop his work,
while this countries politics are going to hell.

He makes no political statements,
rather taking action working while he leads,
300,000,000 citizens strong now all watching,
while the rest of the world now all heeds.

Inspiration at a dire time so well needed,
and a great story to be heard forever by all,
Chris Cox's Memorial Militia example,
His statue shall sit next upon that great Mall.

...and a quote from The Blaze:

"With Congress gridlocked and non-essential federal groundskeepers furloughed, one man has stepped forward to ensure the manicured hedges and lawns of the nation’s capital remain pristine in advance of this weekend’s Million Vet March, a protest of veterans demanding their memorials remain open.
Chris Cox, 45, has never served in the U.S. military, but his respect and appreciation for our nation’s veterans has inspired him give back. “You don’t have to be a veteran to have a love of country,” Cox explained in an exclusive interview with TheBlaze Wednesday evening. To that end, he turned a trip to a D.C. art convention into an opportunity to give back. “Everyone serves in a different way. I’ll just cut a little bit of grass.”
Armed with a leaf-blower, a lawnmower and the South Carolina state flag, Cox is on a one-man mission this week to clean up the National Mall and have it ready to welcome the veterans.  It’s not about politics, “it’s just the right thing to do,” he says."

Washington D.C. ~ "Authorities Tell Memorial Mower: Get Lost" ~ Mystery Bearded Man Identified ~ Chris Cox

Mystery Bearded Man Identified
Please read the article below, both quoted in full and with a link as well.
The unidentified mystery man is none other then my high school friend Chris Cox, who I have known for 30+ years.
Support Chris Cox "FILL THE VOID" by sending this viral !!!
Please help send this viral...Chris has been my friend for a long time (over 30 years) and he even worked on Capitol Hill very recently...he has been cleaning trash...bagging it up and disposing of it all around the mall in Washington DC...and has now been called a nuisance and asked to leave. At a time when folks need to step up and "Fill the Void", law enforcement has called him a nuisance and asked him to leave !!!

If you have a facebook or a Google+ account, simply "like" this and "share" on facebook, or re-post in on your G+...if you support his volunteer work around the memorials of "OUR" Nation's Capitol.

Show Chris Cox and others you support this FILL THE VOID volunteer grassroots movement !!!
He was asked to leave and was told by the authorities to just let "VETERANS" step over the trash !!!
Well, my Father is a 1952 West Point graduate and a retired Colonel as well as a veteran of both Korea and Viet~Nam, and how dare anyone ask him or any other veteran to "let them step over the trash" after their service to our country!
Please read this featured article below:

"Earlier today, an unidentified bearded man took it upon himself to bring his lawnmower and a few tools to the Lincoln Memorial to provide free grounds keeping work to the closed federal monument.
It's unclear how much of the expansive lawn behind the memorial was mowed, but Park Police were alerted and three cruisers with multiple officers showed up.
THE WEEKLY STANDARD watched the officers observing the mystery mower from a distance, as he appeared to be packing it up for the day, carefully placing his blue South Carolina flag in a tube attached to his tool-toting dolly.
According to Park Police public information officer Sergeant Paul Brooks, there was no arrest made. "He was asked to leave, and he complied," said Brooks."

On Twitter, Brandon Morse shared a photo of the mystery memorial mower:

The Disease and The Spirit ~ some morning contemplations...

If a genetic precursor exists that we know ahead of time, and many diseases we do indeed know this way today, I speculate this.

If we took blood samples from everyone as soon as possible (meaning birth) could we annually, let's say, do a genetic comparative analysis and see if any DNA has changed?
After being exposed to carcinogens, for example, it would make sense, for example, that one day a cell may change its genetic make up and start a reproduction cycle that would cause a tumor.

What if we peered into this genetic make up regularly and we could see that change well before any tumor was ever even grown, and then figure out how to treat for this disease caught in its truliest early stages?

Finally, the prices are coming down for your own genome mapping, and as we are using super computers and are ever closer to the day of using quantum computers, it would make sense to me that a decent data-base of known genetic conditions that exist and have a marker would be cataloged to compare and analyze new blood samples, and would be able to do it more quickly as well as look for common denominators in disease not yet genetically  "known".

Some of this is starting to happen now on a very small scale comparative to our world population, and I am certain for some it may be against their own personal and respected beliefs, however my argument would be that to see a disease or statistical likelihood of one developing, would it not be safer to treat early and as often as needed when possible, rather then spend the long term expenses of much more aggressive treatment?

It is called aggressive for a reason!

There are truly some absolutely fascinating cutting edge technologies that are rapidly developing today, or already exist, that when combined, are nothing short of catalysts for a soul searching and mind-storming future for us each hopefully to carry forward with the promise of a better tomorrow, and not the treacherous waste we have left in our own wake. Dare to dream !!!

I have suffered enough through very poor health all my life to realize what can be a dream come true for our future generations and I love the promise that it offers, and perhaps, and very far from it, will we ever live forever.

So in closing, quality and substance of life could be enhanced even more so and as great as life has been for me personally on every level, I cannot help to wonder what I could have done if even healthier, and that should be a beautiful daydream for us each, no matter how perfect or not our health, because the mind is the clarity of the soul in us we each know and hear that leads us to the truth in answers through experience that should leave a brighter legacy always.

It has been a beautiful morning and for that I am thankful today, yet again.

May we all know within us each a new calm and carry forth with even more wisdom please and help stop the suffering of others now, not later.

Love to all my beautiful friends along side me as I journey through life, sharing with one another such dear sweet time.

Spells of Blue ~ Lyrics / Poetry ~ MobiusTripz

some days you spend looking back
wondering what happened and why
kicking yourself depressed and stoned
not really wanting to but cursing towards the sky

times like this creep in
and hang sometimes for a while
wear you out and kick your ass
all while stealing your sweet smile

chorus:
caught up in spells of blue
like waves washing over
old points of view
I'm still caught up in spells of blue

alcohol there aint enough
to take these pains away
no matter how much you drink
the pain is here to stay

drugs cannot quell this beast
but may quell you into submitting
get off those drugs
they steal life and are only best for quitting

chorus:
caught up in spells of blue
like waves washing over
old points of view
I'm still caught up in spells of blue

use your illusion
to clear away a new path
and do not give in anymore
to this evil undeserved wrath

its really up to you
what do you want to choose
a needle and cold chill blues
a permanent life on snooze

chorus:
caught up in spells of blue
like waves washing over
old points of view
I'm still caught up in spells of blue

chorus:
caught up in spells of blue
like waves washing over
old points of view
I'm still caught up in spells of blue
